About Me and What I Do!

This is me. Sunni. That’s pronounced like the weather forecast, sunny – and if you say my last name should be Delight or Day, I’ll tell you I haven’t heard that one before. I’m a geek/nerd about sewing my own clothes. I blog about me, my sewing adventures, my thoughts and feelings and everything sewing related here. I have a deep and dark obsession with fabric and I try to work it around my broad shouldered, long torso-ed real life body.

I’m a regular gal who writes about what I learn, what I need to learn and hopefully splash a little inspiration your way here and there.

About my shop!

I’ve always had a dream that one day I would own my own little quaint shop. Interestingly enough, my mister and I have been able to make my dream a reality. I own and operate a brick and mortar shop and also a small little online shop too. That deep and dark obsession with fabric that I told you about up top, that became a fabric store. We’re located in Salt Lake City, Utah, in a little blue house on the south side of the road. Here’s our address and a few other things you might want to know if, indeed, you are interested in visiting:

988 East 3300 South
Salt Lake City, Utah
(801) 466-3110
Tuesday thru Saturday, 11am – 3pm

We specialize in high quality apparel fabric, supplies and notions. It’s a little garment sewer’s oasis and we’re a pretty friendly bunch to boot, so pop on in and meet us!

My online shop is a small smattering of some of the things we sell in our brick and mortar shop. You can find that here.

Want to keep up to date with what’s new in the shop? Follow my Facebook page where I post daily little rants and photos of new arrivals.
