A somewhat embarrassing situation

I thought I would share a few photos of our weather over the weekend. I can’t say that I’m a huge fan of snow, but this snow was a little different. Reminded me so much of fluffy stuffing, that would go inside a giant fluffy pillow. Doesn’t it look dreamy soft? Hmmmm…

Well, you are simply not going to believe what I’m going to relate to you next. Really, you won’t. Awhile back, say in October, I saw the most gorgeous fabric from Grand Revival and was really hungering for some. It was Ms. Tanya’s brand new design, Dolce, and hadn’t quite made it store shelves yet, however in the meantime, she was offering a fantastic giveaway on such said fabric and her collection of sewing patterns . I entered, thinking of course, I’ll never win. And really I never do, well except for those baseball tickets….Well, it had been awhile since I had checked any of the blogs that I normally haunt, one of which includes Grand Revival, and so yesterday, I checked. I had seen the post her about her mom’s beautiful Etsy shop a little while ago, but I just never scrolled down to see whom she had posted as the winner of her fabulous giveaway. Yesterday I did scroll down, and do you know whom she announced as the winner of her fabulous giveaway? Yes indeed, it was me! And do you know when she announced this? Back in October. And I just realized this yesterday! Oh goodness! I am mortified to be such a poor winner. However, I’m desperately glad to be the winner. So glad. Oh goodness I’m simply delighted. Winning again….Shucks, I just never realized it was so fun. That’s a pretty mean streak of good luck, wouldn’t you say?

  • Abby - Good luck happens in 3s. I can’t wait to see what the next thing you win will be. Maybe you should turn on your TV and see if you have free cable or something! haha.
