A Year in Words

How to sum it all up this year… I like taking a look back on everything that has happened over the short distance of 12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days before I decide to take a look at the new year’s goals. It seems the year has flown by. I feel as if I’ve jumped into a new realm of my life that I never even dreamed I would do. I’ve opened up my very own online shop, which has been a girlish dream of mine ever since I was little. Never imagined I would love it so much. It’s got me thinkin about opening a real shop. I’ll keep you updated on that dream.

I just spent my first year being married to such a wonderful guy. I love him like crazy. Can’t even believe that married life has turned out so nice. Everyone told us it would be so hard. I can’t say there haven’t been rough spots, but I can say that right now they all seem worth it.

I have no idea what the future holds. Life is full of that big surprise and it would be such a disappointment to have it spoiled. Looking back can help us see a little into the future, and I think that’s just enough to keep us thriving. Going home for Christmas this year really made me realize the value of old things and old traditions. I can’t believe how much I’ve missed them. I can’t believe how much different everything is, but I can’t fathom how much everything is still the same. So comforting really. I hope you had a nice, warm and bewitching holiday too.
